Come in and unwind – in the hotel's own spa area, which is exclusively reserved for the guests in the ten Chalet Obergurgl apartments, you will relax in a homely atmosphere. Just like your apartment, the spa area comes with a very stylish design and convinces with premium furniture and lovely décor.
Warm up in the sauna
After recharging your batteries with the clear and cold air in the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski resort, a nice sauna or a visit in the steam bath will heat your body with soothing warmth. At Chalet Obergurgl the sauna cabin is heated for you. If this is too hot for your liking you will alternatively find pleasant and blood circulation-friendly warmth in the steam bath. Here you sweat in lower temperatures and high humidity and still benefit from all the positive effects of a classic sauna. The warmth eases the tension in your muscles, it stimulates blood circulation and strengthens the body's defence systems, in addition to also brightening your mood.
Infrared cabin and adventure shower
Additionally, you may wish to use the infrared cabin in which heat rays ranging from 30 to 50 degrees Centigrade are directed at your skin directly, whereas in classic saunas the heat is transported by the air. A visit at the infrared cabin is great not only for regeneration after a day of sports, but also before it, to warm up your muscles to “operating temperature”.
After your hot bath, jump under the adventure shower for a bit of refreshment. The different shower heads and water pressures provide a tingly shower experience. In order to stimulate the circulation and to benefit from the immune-strengthening effect of the sauna even more, dip into cold water or go outside into the cold winter air for a bit.
